“Music has and always will be a source of inspiration. In many cases, it’s while listening that the pictures fire up and come together in my head. There is never a time where I don’t have music playing while there is a brush in my hand. I believe that the relationship between music and art is a powerful one, and I strive to make this connection tangible in my paintings by creating pieces that are visually and auditory in nature. My goal is to create a visual representation of the sound, so that the viewer can “hear the painting.”” – Clem
