Thanks to the rise of the smartphone, the proliferation of pictures is everywhere like never before. Ultimately, everyone is looking to try to capture a moment. We take thousands of pictures but usually there is only one or two that stand out, that truly capture the essence of the moment – that really says it all.

This group of paintings was done to either a) capture a feeling/moment actually experienced or b) one that we would all want to.

“I painted these to express the feelings one would have looking back at being here – the warmth of the evening, the music in the air, the feeling of being surrounded by close friends and just the general ambience, essence of the moment.
